Gotenshita ground

Overview

High quality, 6cm long pile Astroturf ground with lighting equipment which can be used for soccer, football, footsal, and other outside activities.


Procedures for using the ground

  • No admission fee is required to use the ground.
  • The ground can be rented.

    * Individual open hours: Mon-Fri 12:00-14:00
    (Thursday sometimes 12:00-13:00 due to the class session use.)

The entrance gates of the ground are always locked. Please follow the details below and receive the key at the Undou-Kai office, or the security room prior to use.

  1. The person who wants to use the ground must go to the University of Tokyo Athletic Association (Undou-Kai) office or the security room at Yasuda hall (when Undou-Kai office is closed) with a student ID or other identification, and receive the key.
  2. The location and hours to receive and return the key.
    Mon-Fri 9:30-17:00 Undou-Kai office(here）
    Other hours Security room located at 1st floor of Yasuda Holl map.
    Note. Be sure to return the key at indicated location by indicated hours.
  3. You can use the ground as individual use when the ground is not occupied by rental use. Please go to the Undou-Kai office for registration procedure and receive the key. Note. This applies only when Undou-Kai office open hours. Please check the facility reservation table here.
  4. The users are responsible for ground use. Giving the key to someone else, or using the ground for not permitted purpose is strongly prohibited.
  5. Please lock the entrance gate after using.

Note. This is not applied during the individual open hours.

Note and rules upon using the ground

  1. Never use the ground without proper procedure.
  2. No baseball and golf is allowed.
  3. Eating food and use of fire inside of the ground is prohibited.
  4. Riding a bike or a motorcycle inside of the ground is strongly prohibited.
  5. No pet is allowed.
  6. No hard spike shoes. (may damage the Astroturf)
  7. Any activities that may give the severe damage to the Astroturf are prohibited.
